Besides many one-time gifts or short-term commitments to various ministries, Bear Creek Church is blessed to regularly partner with these ministries and missionaries through financial support and contributions of time and resources.

 

The Tells are serving those affected with disabilities by distributing and fitting them with wheelchairs. They also partner with the Joni and Friends ministry, Wheels for the World, and are working to establish and train others to host family camps, which are a huge encouragement to families affected by disability. Ricardo, Vonna, (and daughter Vivi) have planted a growing church in Pereira, Iglesia Cristiana Bíblica de Pereira (ICBP).  Sadly, Colombia is known for its violence and corruption, and most churches that do exist preach a false gospel.  Ricardo (born and raised in Bogotá) and Vonna (from S. Oregon) met and graduated from The Masters University, and were sent by The Masters Academy International whose mission is to establish international seminaries to train and equip local pastors.  Their current focus is to establish and grow ICBP through biblical preaching, teaching, and counseling.

 

Bear Creek Church partners with hardworking servants Sam and Mildred Machaka to assist very needy people outside Harare, Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe is recognized, by several measures, as one of the poorest nations on the planet. So the people who live in the area outside Kambezuma can be said to be among the poorest of the poor. Sam and Millie have catalogued the needs of many of these people, many of them HIV/AIDS orphans and widows, and work hard to help them in practical ways.  A primary focus of their work through Brink Ministries is to train Pastors and church leaders in southern Africa.  They have trained leaders in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Tanzania.  CLICK HERE for more information about Brink Ministries.

 

The Mahlangus together run the Nisela Marriage Resource, conducting premarital counseling and marriage enrichment seminars and training church leaders in South Africa and surrounding areas.

 

We’re privileged to partner in the gospel with a family doing much for Christ’s kingdom in Turkey.  Due to persecutions that exist there, we do not mention them by name, but are grateful to God for this ministry of a local church and their work in translating the bible for Turkish speaking people.

The mission of The Pregnancy Center is to provide women, families and youth with education, crisis intervention counseling, supportive programs for moms-to-be through labor, delivery and the first year of the baby’s life. Outreach services include providing parenting, adoption, post-abortion counseling, and abstinence education in schools, churches and at The Pregnancy Center in Medford, Oregon.
